#44 Power of Collaboration and Art of Business

 Greetings dear readers,

Welcome to another captivating week at Avinya! We’ve had quite the whirlwind of activities and exciting developments, and I’m here to spill all the delightful details for you.

First and foremost, I’m thrilled to announce that our meticulous recruitment process for new educators has reached its successful conclusion. We’ve handpicked two individuals who will soon become invaluable members of our Avinya family. Their fresh perspectives and expertise are sure to add a new dimension to our already vibrant educational environment. We can’t wait to involve them in the day-to-day hubbub we’ve come to know and love!

Meanwhile, our junior floaties have been diligently working on student recruitment for the upcoming September intake. They have taken on the responsibility of reaching out to applicants, scheduling interviews, and providing invaluable assistance throughout the entire recruitment project. Their dedication and all-around awesomeness truly embody the spirit of Avinya, and we couldn’t be prouder of their remarkable efforts.

When it comes to enlightening parents and applicants about the Empower program and the unique offerings of Avinya, our star communicator Isuru has once again taken the lead. Together with the capable support of Dilani, Ilma, Vidushi, and Vihan, they have been providing detailed briefings and conducting interviews with potential students. As for the enrollment process, Sanduni and I have been trying to ensure a smooth transition for our new enrollees. We have two classes almost completely filled. An exhilarating win for the week!

In our commitment to holistic education, we organized an informative session on sexual health and safety, led by the knowledgeable Shanuki De Alwis. This session provided our students with valuable insights and awareness on a topic that is often neglected in traditional educational settings. The students expressed their heartfelt gratitude for such an enlightening session.

Last but certainly not least, our highly anticipated business pitches, part of the My Company Pvt Ltd project, are just around the corner! Our talented students have been working tirelessly to refine their innovative business ideas, preparing to showcase their entrepreneurial prowess in a (friendly) fight for investment. This competition not only encourages creativity and teamwork but also instills essential skills such as leadership and strategic thinking. The anticipation in the air is contagious, and we can’t wait to witness the remarkable ideas our students bring to the table tomorrow in the ultimate showdown.

And that’s a wrap, for this week at the academy! Tune in with us every week for more exciting updates on our educational journey!
