With a background in Information and Communication Technology, he is equally dedicated to teaching and technology. When he’s not immersed in code or teaching, you can find him enjoying games of table tennis and volleyball or delving into captivating world history. His curiosity drives him to explore new avenues, aiming to make a meaningful impact through research and education.

Vidushi, an old girl of Holy Cross College, Gampaha is a scientist cum teacher with a Bachelors in Zoology from University of Calicut, Kerala, India and a Masters in Microbiology. After working as a Research Officer at National Aquatic Research Agency (NARA) for two years, in 2001, Vidushi joined her Alma Mater, as a teacher of Biology, Science, Health and English. Later she continued teaching at Holy Family Convent, Bambalapitiya until 2022. Vidushi loves baking, especially cakes of different flavours. She is also an avid reader. She draws and paints during her leisure time. She loves camping and wildlife and spends most of her family leisure time in the wild.

A passionate educator and mentor with innate ability to understand and motivate  young people. Dilani has over 18 years of experience teaching Junior and Lower Secondary School students in various capacities. An easy-going  individual with a  very friendly and approachable demeanor.  Dilani grew up in Papua New Guinea and later moved to New Zealand for her tertiary education before finally settling down in Sri Lanka. Family is everything to her – She is married with two grown-up daughters. Outside the classroom, Dilani is a self-proclaimed foodie, particularly enjoying the art of baking. If given the opportunity, she dreams of exploring the world and sharing her travel and culinary adventures as a blogger.

Isuru Ranaweera is an educator with a decade of teaching experience, having previously worked as an Executive Field Trainer at a well-known corporate organization. He brings a unique combination of academic and practical expertise to his role. Isuru’s interpersonal skills are a noteworthy asset, enabling him to connect with students and colleagues effectively. His energy creates a vibrant learning environment that promotes growth and development. Isuru is passionate about community development and youth empowerment, actively seeking opportunities to contribute positively in these areas. He holds a language degree from the University of Peradeniya, along with a master’s degree in International Relations.

A foodie, a comic book geek, pop culture enthusiast, gearhead and a bit of a techie who also loves theater. Vihan’s combined love for the art, sciences and curiosity leads him to some of the weirdest(i.e.intriguing) places and his only hope is to inspire others to do the same; to follow their own curiosity and find that spark that can hopefully make the world a better place. He has both a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kingston University and a Diploma in Motor Vehicle Systems.

Anuki Mendis is a dedicated educator who is a fourth-year undergraduate at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura majoring in English. Thanks to Avinya being her first-ever job, she recently found her passion for teaching and engaging to make a positive impact in the lives of students. She has always had an interest in working toward the betterment of the community and its sustainable development which is why she is actively involved in all kinds of social service projects. She believes that she is a quick-learning, hardworking, and organized individual who is patient and adaptable to any environment. She likes to have a classroom filled with fun, creativity, and energy that matches up with her bubbly and hyper personality. Besides teaching, she is also an avid reader and is known for carrying a book with her at all times. She is also always open to trying something new and calling it an experience.

Roshanie is a passionate educator with a bachelor’s degree in both Mathematics and Law.
