• Ranjo Gunawardena joins the Avinya team as the new Executive Director overlooking the efficient functioning of all aspects of the Avinya Foundation.

  Before she joined Avinya Foundation, Ranjo worked as a Senior Director of Sales & General Manager – North America for WSO2. Throughout her career she has been responsible for Strategic Customer Relationship Management, Customer Service Excellence, and Development and Retention of highly-effective teams.

  Ranjo is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (MCIM – UK). 

  Her passions: The world of Functional Health Coaching, healthy mindful living through the dynamic balance of nutrition, active lifestyle, managing priorities and recovery. She loves reading, exploring Sri Lanka, cycling & trekking.

Geeth is passionate about software technologies, an avid reader of books like Harry Potter, a fan of whodunnit TV shows, and a history enthusiast with a penchant for capturing moments through photography. With a background in Information and Communication Technology, he is equally dedicated to teaching and technology. When he’s not immersed in code or teaching, you can find him enjoying games of table tennis and volleyball or delving into captivating world history. His curiosity drives him to explore new avenues, aiming to make a meaningful impact through research and education.

• I’m Nirasha Peiris, and I serve as the Finance Executive at Avinya Foundation. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree and have over three years of experience in finance and accounting. At Avinya, I manage day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. I’m passionate about using my financial skills to support the foundation’s mission of creating lasting social impact, and I’m proud to be part of a team that’s working to build a more equitable and empowered society.

Lahiru is a software engineer at Avinya Foundation. Prior to joining Avinya Foundation, Lahiru worked as a software engineer at Epic Lanka (PVT) Ltd, where he was responsible for backend development in financial applications. Lahiru holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering from the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology.In his spare time, Lahiru enjoys traveling, playing video games, watching movies, and listening to music.
